Our Journey
A Global Logistics Leader
PulseBridge is a logistics company committed to delivering efficient and reliable solutions for businesses of all sizes.
Here’s how we’ve evolved:
2018: Sharp Insights, “One-Stop” Logistics Solutions
In early 2018, Pulse Bridge identified a growing demand for low-cost, flexible logistics solutions among overseas small businesses, especially small retailers and wholesalers. To meet this demand, we established a dedicated logistics department and quickly launched direct shipping channels for small goods via ocean freight, utilizing top shipping companies like Matson, ZIM, and COSCO. We also introduced customized solutions such as merchant container packages.
Within a short time, our customer service team received numerous inquiries from overseas small businesses seeking information about cost-effective and flexible logistics solutions. We continuously improved our services and ultimately served over 500 small and medium-sized businesses in Europe and the US within three years, accumulating valuable cross-border logistics experience and resources.
2019: Global Expansion, Building an Efficient Logistics System
To better serve global customers, we partnered with leading logistics companies in 2019, establishing a global logistics network. We formed agency partnerships with DHL, UPS, FedEx, and USPS for small packages, offering express delivery and air freight services.
We also set up logistics centers in multiple countries to provide more convenient services. Through continuous optimization of our logistics processes and services, we ultimately provided our customers with one-stop cross-border logistics solutions, effectively enhancing customer satisfaction.
The same year, to meet the special logistics needs of the KOC business, we launched the “Community Direct Mail” service. This service delivers overseas products directly to City Leaders, who then distribute packages to community users. This initiative not only improves logistics efficiency but also brings Pulse Bridge’s logistics services closer to users, meeting the demand for convenient and efficient logistics.
2020: Pandemic Test, Resilience of the Logistics Network
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed significant challenges to the global logistics system. However, Pulse Bridge, with its robust logistics network and flexible operational strategies, successfully overcame the difficulties. We optimized logistics routes, adjusted transportation methods, and collaborated closely with partners to ensure the stability and reliability of our services.
During the pandemic, our logistics services demonstrated strong advantages, providing essential support for overseas Chinese purchasing medical supplies and daily necessities. We facilitated group purchases of urgently needed items such as masks and disinfectants for overseas Chinese, and successfully delivered them to their destinations. This ensured effective provision of anti-pandemic supplies for community residents.
It’s worth noting that our close collaboration with KOCs played a crucial role during the pandemic. City Leaders, leveraging their influence within communities, organized cross-border group purchases of medical supplies and daily necessities for community members, addressing urgent needs. They also became promoters of Pulse Bridge’s logistics services, helping us reach a wider audience.
2021 to Present: Focus on Improvement, Creating Differentiated Advantages
To further enhance service quality and user experience, we began focusing on improvements and innovation in 2021, introducing a series of initiatives:
Enhancing Service Quality: We established a dedicated team to provide free quality inspection, consolidation, and supply chain management services for overseas customers. This ensured complete customer satisfaction with every product.
Establishing Overseas Warehouses: We partnered to set up offline warehouses in California and New Jersey, offering self-pickups and truck delivery services for larger products. This further enhanced logistics efficiency and user experience.
Optimizing Logistics Processes: We developed a “one-click quotation, ordering, and logistics tracking system” tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises. This streamlined process improved logistics transparency, allowing customers to monitor the status of their shipments at any time.
Operators of the KOC & City Leader Program
PulseBridge has a dedicated KOC business line that empowers communities to harness their collective purchasing power.
Here’s how this business has evolved:
2018: Building Trust and Understanding
We began with a simple focus: providing personalized, one-on-one support for basic logistics inquiries. This direct approach helped us build trust and understanding with our customers, laying the groundwork for a thriving City Leader community.
2019: From “Mom Group Buys” to “City Leaders”
In 2019, we saw the potential of “Mom Group Buys” — groups of overseas Chinese mothers using social platforms to organize collective purchases. This simple act of community collaboration sparked a movement that we were eager to support.
We recognized the power of these “Mom Groups” and transformed them into “City Leaders,” providing professional training and support. These leaders became the driving force within their communities, recruiting users, organizing group buys, distributing packages, and collecting valuable feedback. They established trust within their communities, creating strong purchasing power and a pressing demand for product information and logistics solutions.
2020: Rising to the Challenge
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, overseas Chinese communities faced significant challenges, including shortages of essential supplies. Traditional logistics channels were disrupted, and local supplies of medical and daily necessities were scarce. Pulse Bridge’s City Leaders business rose to the challenge. City Leaders across various locations utilized our logistics network and supply chain advantages to quickly organize cross-border group buys for medical and daily supplies, addressing urgent needs in their communities.
Here is how our City Leaders did:
- Leader A organized a group buy of 10,000 masks for her community, addressing an urgent need.
- Leader B assisted a community hospital in procuring urgently needed medical equipment, providing crucial support for local healthcare.
2021 to Present: A Growing Community
We formally incorporated community e-commerce into our company strategy, and started our KOC program, continually investing resources in its enhancement and development. We transitioned from “Group Buys” to a thriving “Community E-commerce” ecosystem, guiding KOCs to organize, recommend, and share quality products.
We built a comprehensive KOC training system and provide specialized operational tools to help City Leaders improve efficiency and professionalism in the management.
Today, Pulse Bridge’s KOC business has over 1,500 user groups, 500 City Leaders, and reaches over 400,000 overseas Chinese in North America, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
